Official says Business France closure not to affect Russia relations

MOSCOW, Jul 19 (PRIME) – The closure of trade representation Business France will not affect trade and economic relations with Russia, ambassador to France Alexei Meshkov told reporters on Thursday.

“I think this will not affect our trade and economic relations,” Meshkov said.

The French embassy in Moscow earlier said it will close its representation for trade and investments, ensuring operations of Business France in Russia, from Monday, as Business France “is not allowed to operate in Russia within French legislation.”
